As my Mom transitioned from using a cane to navigating with a walker, we both realized just how hard it was going to be to for her to carry a purse!! And, as I have a love for all types of tote bags, I thought that creating something cute but functional would be fun!!
The little cutie shown was constructed of denim and cotton fabric. Each 5" fabric square is machine pieced, quilted for stability and then completely lined. Velcro allows the straps to be securely attached to the walker and a single button closure prevents your contents from spilling or allowing access to anyone else. Options for purchase will include a choice of a standard or rollator type of walker and custom colors. As this particular tote has sold, if you love the denim idea, I will happily provide you with one that will be very similar.
While the 13" wide x 9" high size will remain constant, the upcoming totes (including some original photography squares) will always be changing. Each tote will be "one of a kind" - so even if you order two of the same color combination the fabric placement will not be the same. Each tote will be made to order so please allow time for sewing and shipping if you are considering ordering one as a gift.
